Well, I picked a music culture. It doesn’t seem all that amazing but I'm going to give it a shot (as if I have a choice). No offense to Mrs. Young, I honestly appreciate her efforts to make learning more about music exciting. I’d rather being doing this than a lot of the other things that I am required to do in my other classes. The band I chose is the BigDaddyBand of Dallas….sounds just flat out amazing doesn’t it? That’s because it is, maybe. Turns out they are a cover band that performs (dancing included) everything that our parents would consider funky from “back in the day”. I’m kind of looking forward to this because it’s not a bunch of old men playing tubas, neither is it something that I can’t not completely relate to. We all remember that one song the “Car Wash”. This might be kind of fun.
